Circles of Color
The Multicultural Ministries of the Diocese of Olympia and its committees promote and develop a culturally and ethnically diverse diocese. They are dedicated to the support of ethnic and multicultural congregations. The team encourages lay and ordained leadership of individuals of color and builds bridges of mutual respect and understanding between the Anglo and ethnic-minority communities throughout the diocese.

Circles of Color Retreat
August 21-23
Gather as a Full Circle at Sacred Waters for fellowship, worship, and fun! Come for 1-2 nights or just for our main program on Saturday.

Recharge your mind, body, and spirit in this beautiful part of Creation nestled between the mountains and the Hood Canal. This retreat will mainly focus on connecting, relaxing, and worshiping together. There will also be an opportunity for conversation about our Multicultural Ministries 2030 strategic plan (see below), activities for youth, plus options to get your hands dirty in the garden or around the grounds (if you want!).

To promote an environment of rest and safety for our members of color, the number of spaces open for Allies’ participation is limited and by invitation only. The 20s/30s Holy Waste of Time Retreat will also be happening at Sacred Waters so if you're a younger BIPOC member and would like to come to both, we can accommodate that.

Don't wait...Reserve your spot for the Circles of Color Retreat today!
