Medicine Lodge Retreat
with Rev. Rachel Taber-Hamilton, Shacken First Nation
Available spots
Service Description
This retreat will lead participants into a deep spiritual journey of Indigenous medicine rites entrusted to me for the purpose of blessing, caring for, and supporting the spiritual life of those encountering significant health challenges in body, mind or spirit such as those who are therapeutically engaged in journeys of healing, trauma recovery, or adjusting to life changes incurred through illness or injury (including moral injury). Medicine Lodge is a sacred time with an intentional structure of rites with periods of silence and personal reflection in which all must participate and respect. Therefore, all participants must be able to arrive in time for the 5:00pm welcome on March 16 and remain for the full duration of the retreat until departure at 11:30am on March 18. Retreat fees are $300 for shared room, $450 for private room, which includes lodging for two nights, all meals and sessions, with all proceeds going to support Sacred Waters. Reservations are made with nonrefundable deposit of $100 with balance due upon arrival.
