Service Description

A Lenten Contemplative Retreat: Desert Wisdom for the Lenten Journey During this retreat we will reflect upon passages from The Bible and The Sayings of the Desert Mothers and Fathers as resources to inspire and guide us on our Lenten journeys. This mostly silent retreat will provide time for rest, prayer, reflection and the enjoyment of nature all in the beauty of St Andrew’s House and the Sacred Waters Center for Restoration and Retreat on Hood Canal. The retreat will be facilitated by The Rev. Paul Rietmann. Paul is a retired Episcopal priest in the Diocese of Olympia, a spiritual director and a popular retreat leader. He is the author of Jesus and Buddha Meet in Stillness. Paul lives in Grapeview, WA, in Mason County with his wife Judie.
