Fall Contemplative Retreat

Service Description

This mostly silent retreat will provide time for rest, prayer, meditation, music, time in nature and group sharing. You are invited to come refresh your body, mind, and soul in the beautiful fall season at St Andrew’s House at The Sacred Waters Center. The theme of this retreat is “Practicing with Jesus: A Contemplative View of Discipleship.” We will reflect upon the Gospels to learn how Jesus practiced a life of contemplation and service. We will consider how Jesus invites us to follow him in a life of deep contemplative discipleship. The retreat begins on Monday, October 20, 4:00pm, and concludes after lunch on Thursday, October 23, 1:00pm. Lodging, linens, meals, coffee & tea included in the price. Retreat Facilitator: The Rev. Paul Rietmann will facilitate this retreat. Paul is a retired Episcopal priest in the Diocese of Olympia, a spiritual director, retreat leader and contemplative teacher. He is the author of Jesus and Buddha Meet in Stillness and a regular retreat leader at St Andrew’s House.
